I think I lost my sense of adventure. On Labor Day I was whining to myself that I never go anywhere. I admit that I am a homebody. I love to stay home.

School will be starting very soon! Kids will grab their backpack and head for the classroom. Do you remember your first day of school? My school supplies consisted of crayons and a mat for nap time.
During the past year, my son became a father. I am not sure if he is happier that he has a child or has a new playmate. He approaches fatherhood with a huge dose of fun. They roar like lions and do the chicken dance together. I am very proud of him.
Today I received the gift of 24 hours. I started my day with a short bike ride. Stationary of course, living in WI the weather is not always conducive to riding outside.
Spring is finally here in Green Bay. Winter may still come and go, but it will eventually turn into summer. My garden is turning green, a deep feel-good type of green.
