Memories of Santa

Waiting for Santa is such an experience! When I was little, I would wake up as early as possible, tiptoe downstairs in the dark, and look over the presents—counting how many we got and maybe giving one or two a careful shake.

ADHD – Deal with It!

In 1995, my world fell apart. My twin boys, then just 5 years old, were diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder—ADHD. At the time, much of the information available painted a bleak picture, suggesting they were destined for failure.

Change is in the air—and it’s not the enemy. Fall is near. The days are getting shorter, temperatures are dropping, the robins have flown south, and the hummingbirds are on their way.

We Are Moving!

Yes, we’re moving—just across street. Not far at all, but it will still create a bit of chaos for a while. Like many others, I tend to avoid change. We’ve been in the same location for 13 years.
